Major Cruise Line , November , 2019

A brand new, never before sailed cruise ship traveled from New York to Miami for its grand christening - an ART EMERGENCY occurred! During the journey, the ship encountered some rough seas and four works of art got destroyed en route to Miami. The designers were in a bind as the public christening was scheduled for the next day. That’s when FrameWorks received the Art Emergency call, four pieces of art needed to be replaced the next day! Frameworks had roughly 18 hours to curate, print, and install art on the ship before its grand opening in the port of Miami. About 14 Hours later our Head of shipping and Logistics, Trey, was aboard the Cruise ship with four giant aluminum prints in tow. The outdoor deck went from drab to fab! With two hours to spare before the christening, the art was installed and providing tropical vibes on the outdoor deck as passengers began to mingle before the big event. FrameWorks saves the art world again!

Handling large requests on short notice provides us the opportunity to show what we’re made of. With only a 3 week notice, we were able to go from conversation to installation, providing a top global cruise line with over 50 art pieces. So, in just 3 weeks we needed to design the pieces, produce them, and install the needed amount of special framed art that was in tribute to members of the military. Our team from day one, went all hands on deck, spending hours curating military memorabilia, printing exclusive imagery, sizing and cutting signs, and building unique sized frames for every piece. We hit the deadline, crushed the cruise line’s expectations, and during their speech, we felt tremendous pride in knowing we were a driving force behind its success, “… most meaningful to me, is the introduction of the Heroes Tribute Bar, A special kind of salute to the women and men of the military.” One of the most critical and inspirational pieces of the whole project was the signage that read, “We are 24/7, 365” because we feel like the FrameWorks team operates in the same fashion. To meet our tight deadline, we were 24/7, making every second count during the execution of this military bar. We are ART HEROES, 365 days a year and we create limitless possibilities.

How big do you need it printed? With our vast inventory of the newest models in printing technology allows us to print on anything. Hard or flat material, we can print up to 2 inches thick (for texture printing) on pieces that are 8 feet by 16 feet. When it comes to soft material, our printing capacity exceeds industry standards because we are able to print on soft canvases that are 80 inches by infinity.
